In order to commemorate that horrible, old writing, I have complied some of my most embarrassing writings for you to read and laugh at!

Writing was freeing. It was thrilling. I was at the top of the world when writing. Anything was possible, even superpowers and dragons.

“When did you first start writing?” Rarely does anyone just answer with a date or number. Usually, it’s answered with a beautiful story.

Your grief is not big enough to stop the world, just as your love was not big enough to stop death. That is the cruelness of life.

Take my words and use them. Quote them if you want. It is only one way to portray grief, but it is a truthful way.

Time doesn’t heal, it only changes us until we can remember the pain no longer.

Living on a farm has taught me that you can't outrun death. But, somehow, I think we believed we had become invincible.
